Unsolicited comments

I would like to take this oppurtinity to say that I do not appreciate unsolicited comments. [READ: I do appreciate your opinions, that is not the issue.] I designed my site the way it is for a reason. I wanted to. I am aware of usablity and accessability concerns. At this time, I don't care. I don't have to care.

I am concerned with standards compliance, and visual impact. At this time I am well in line with these things. I will use a .div if I wish. As long as my code checks out as XHTML 1.0 strict and my CSS is given a nod by jigsaw, I am content. And to date both of the aforementioned statements are correct.

I comply to standards [READ: if my site validates as XHTML strict, then the doc structure is valid and correct; so a statement like "well you don't care about valid markup" is incorrect. If the markup was invalid, then it wouldn't validate would it?] I design what I hope are visually appealing layouts, that conform to web display standards and that is all I can handle at this time.

My wife thanks me.
