The idiot that is Chris Davis

<p>Today I was reminded just how much I am enslaved to my own passions and misconceptions. I have a problem taking criticism, in <strong>any</strong> form. But usually if the delivery of it is done in a tactful, caring way I can see it for what it is, namely the heartfelt advice of a person who cares for me and wishes to share the benefit of thier wisdom/knowledge.</p><p>Unforunately if the critic is unschooled in the ways of tact, I tend to blow up and react badly, seeing it as the ramblings of a know-it-all little **** who uses the oppurtunity to toot thier own horn. Sometimes scenario one and two are both correct, but not that often.</p><p>Today in the midst of the Divine Liturgy, during the homily my priest Fr. David unintentionally smacked me down. It seem to be happening a lot. Disturbing. I really do need help being a better, loving person. Who would have thunk it?</p>
