I have become flighty

What can I say, I like to have something to work on, and I get distracted easily of late.

I don't know if this affects anyone else out there, but over the last year or two I have apparently evolved into a new form, the Master of Unfinished Projects. I used to be single minded with my projects, start one, finish it, reset, rinse and repeat. But something has changed recently pushing me to start, build and then lose interest 85% of the way through.

It's feels weird and slightly distressing, if I'm begin honest.

I have been working pretty hard to overcome this issue and return to my "get it done" days but alas, that ship seems to have sailed, hit an iceberg and sunk below the water, as the band played a meloncholy tune, never to be seen or heard from again.

With that being said, I don't really have much choice but to accept my new reality. Thankfully I don't believe this will lead to abandoned projects, since I seem to eventually get back around to wanting to work on things again eventually.

Right now I have these projects in some state of progress:

Iterator

A fully decentralized, pub sub based version of dribbble, 100% focused on sharing work and getting feedback.

• RLine CMS — A simple, modular CMS for powering blogs and small sites (you're using it now!)
• Hello Mod — A small web app that makes creating Cloudflare workers simple, designed specifically for status pages and maintenance pages.
• Analytics — What it says on the tin, simple, elegant Analytics that you install and own.
• Homebase — Project Management and Issue tracking software, with a focus on automated reporting and stakeholder workflows.
• Genus — tvOS Native front end for Plex, focusing 100% on video playback and nothing else.

A lot of them are responses to my own irritants, especially Genus and Hello Mod, but I think all of them will find an audience once they are release ready. I guess more than anything I wanted to put something out there talking about this, as well as talking about the projects I am cooking up, as a sort of accountability to the universe.
