Recently Kevin Basil posted his thoughts on the debaucle concerning the recent overthrow of the decision dealing with hazard Nuclear Waste disposal at Yucca Mountain.
Kevin Basil doesn't understand why or when the disposal of hazardous nuclear waste has fallen under the auspices of the federal government. I don't either. That is not the reall issue here. The real issue is that the short sighted legislators in Nevada are not serving thier constituents. According to this site, there are innumerable benefits and concessions to be won from the government if played correctly. (And it appears that the majority of Nevada's people favor an open dialog with the government regarding this matter).
